Account emails always use central mail. Configure the shared server once in Settings → Central mail. This page can use that server with its own sender, or use a separate SMTP server.

Delivery for Northwind Internal

Mail transport Use the shared server unless this page needs its own provider or SMTP account. Existing custom credentials are kept when switching to central.

Sender for Northwind Internal

With central transport, leave the address and name empty to inherit the central sender. A separate SMTP server requires a from address.
